Medical Services and Centres
Founded in 2003, the Fracture and Orthopaedic Clinic (FAOC) was the product of a merge between the practices of Dr Godfrey Araujo FRCS Ed. and Dr Derrick Lousaing FRCS Ed., creating a modern and efficient group practice. Occupancy commenced in 2004 and Dr Ahmed H. Rahman MBBS was recruited to manage the general practice.
Staff are professional, friendly and strive to give the best possible care to their patients. The facility is state-of-the-art with modern medical equipment. FAOC is committed to enhancing cutting edge practices with staff regularly attending regional and international courses and conferences to ensure they are up to date with the fast-paced, ever advancing profession.
FAOC offers services for blood tests and specimen samples, working collaboratively with Trinidad and Tobago's most advanced laboratory. It is currently the only practice in Trinidad and Tobago which offers Platelet Rich Plasma injections used to treat chronic tendon problems. Full details of services are on the clinic's website.
